A dry cut is a type of haircut done on dry hair. This method is preferred by some stylists for certain types of hair or to easily achieve certain styles. A dry cut is done on completely or mostly dry hair in order to give the stylist a clear picture of what the cut will look like when hair is not wet.
For people with curly or wavy hair, a dry cut may be a preferable method. When hair is saturated with water, curls and waves often change shape, stretching out due to the additional weight of the water. With a dry cut, the stylist can easily see the shape and pattern of the curls, as well as know the length of hair when it is dry and curly.
A dry cut is beneficial to the client. Often, when hair is cut wet, stylists will use straightening tools, such as flat irons, to straighten hair before cutting. If the client wears her hair curly most of the time, it may be difficult to get an accurate idea of how the cut will look on a regular daily basis. In a dry cut, the stylist is working with the same hair the client deals with every day, so it is easy to pick up great styling tips by watching the cut carefully.
Wash, cut and blowdry?
A wash cut and blowdry simply refers to a haircut performed when the hair is wet. the hair is shampooed and conditioned prior to cutting, and then styled
Cutting the hair is generally performed when the hair is wet, but there are some techniques that require that the hair is dry when it is cut. Having the hair wet when cutting prevents flyaway hairs and split ends. It also allows the hair to be blow-dried and styled when completed.
Full head colour
Full head colouring is exactly what it is.we  help clients choose the best colour, taking into account their skin tone and eye colour.
There are different types of full head colour options
A permanent colour
Hair coloring is the practice of changing the color of hair. The main reasons for this practice are cosmetic (e.g., to cover gray hair, to change to a color regarded as more fashionable or desirable, or to restore the original hair color after it has been discolored by hairdressing processes or sun bleaching). Hair dyeing, which is an ancient art, involves treatment of the hair with various chemical compounds
Semi-permanent gloss to add shine and colour tone
Semi-permanent hair color has smaller molecules than temporary dyes. These dyes only partially penetrate the hair shaft. For this reason, the color will survive repeated washing, typically 4 to 5 shampoos or a few weeks. Semi-permanents contain no, or very low levels of developer, peroxide or ammonia, and are therefore safer for damaged or fragile hair. However, semi-permanents may still contain the possibly carcinogenic compound p-phenylenediamine.
The final color of each strand of hair will depend on its original color and porosity, so there will be subtle variations in shade across the whole head. This gives a more natural result than the solid, all over color of a permanent color. However, it also means that gray or white hairs will not appear as the same shade as the rest of the hair. If there are only a few grey/white hairs, the effect will usually be enough for them to blend in, but as the gray spreads, there will come a point where it will not be disguised as well. In this case, the move to permanent color can sometimes be delayed by using the semi-permanent as a base and adding highlights.
Semi-permanent color cannot lighten the hair.
Toner for use on pre-lightened hair to achieve delicate colours
Hair toner is a low peroxide that deposits colour to remove unwanted tones, such as oranges and yellows from the hair.
They work by cancelling out colours according to the colour wheel, that is the opposite colour on the colour wheel.
Ash based toners, which technically are “green” cut out red colors, Blue based toners cut out orange, Violet toners cut out yellow.
Root tint to touch up light or dark roots. This is also an excellent choice for white or grey re-growth
Root colour instantly covers gray and any color hair roots between color applications. It’s quick, professional, waterproof, portable and it’s easy!
It can even blend in dark roots on blondes.
Deep conditioning treatment
Using a deep conditioning treatment restores moisture and elasticity to dry hair. Treatments range in price. Your stylist can give you a professional deep conditioning, either way, treating your hair on a regular basis helps to keep it in great condition.
Deep conditioners are used to put the moisture back into dry .They contain emollient ingredients and are thick and creamy. Unlike rinse-out conditioners, which are only left on the hair for a few minutes, deep conditioners should be left on the hair for an extended period of time before rinsing. They are especially helpful for putting moisture back into the ends of hair, which are often drier than the rest of the hair.
Deep conditioners are designed to leave hair softer and more manageable. It may take more than one deep conditioning treatment to feel the full effects. Using deep conditioners on a regular basis, at least once a week to once a month, will ensure consistently healthy hair.
